Deacon Phillip was loved by many especially my family. He loved children & was so proud of both my girls. He was there for me when I was a leader of the church’s youth group & I shared running the children’s acolyte teams with him. He always had a smile & an ear ! You will be truly missed sir, I know you are enjoying your new home in the hands of our Lord!

Rev. Philip Craig Dunbar was not only Chaplain of Clan Dunbar, but also served as Chieftain of the Clan until his health deteriorated. We have fond memories of his beautiful prayers, benedictions, and Christmas messages to the Clan. Philip, ably assisted by his wife Judy, who was also Secretary of the Clan during Philip’s tenure as Chieftain, attended as many Scottish events as he was able, always kind, gentle and an elegant figure in his Highland attire, wearing the kilt with aplomb. He worked constantly for the betterment of the Clan and was working on his matriculation with the Lord Lyon of Scotland. Much loved, he is greatly missed.
